I had an interesting day yesterday. I got invited over the home of a person who works for the Italian embassy here in Edinburgh. He and his Spanish girlfriend invited my friend and I over for dinner. We had a great meal of spaghetti and mussels with white wine. It was the first white wine I could actually drink. I still prefer red but I think I could drink it if it came down to it. We then talked for a while and had a cappucino, which he made. It was great! It was much much better than Starbucks. Well, what do you expect? It was an Italian drink to being with.
I am hopfully just finishing up my Ph. D. proposal. I am going to send it in this afternoon. Not much else is going on right now.
