It is a very rare day that I agree with a "conservative" but I found one. Although, it is very short but he is correct; the US is a republic not a democracy or, more to the point, we are a democratic republic. I feel the same as the founders of the republic that having a pure democracy was dangerous (hell, even the limited one in the US is causing damage. Witness GWB). Anyway, I thought that I would bring it up.
