Radio in the UK is a bit different than the US. What I remember is each radio station having one genre of music that they played to death. For instance, in Seattle, there is the classic rock station, the modern rock station, the alternative rock station, the classical station, the top 40 station, etc., etc. In the UK, all the stations pretty much play whatever and they even will pull tracks out from years before and play them and they are not considered a "classic" station if they do that. You can hear R&B (rap), hard rock, and techno/dance all within a half an hour and they will still have decent listenership.

Anyway, doing a spot of cleaning up before my dad arrives.
