Due to circumstances beyond my roommate or my control (but not beyond the control of those assholes who did this), my roommate is going to be moving back to the US in about a week. As you can tell, I am NOT happy about this turn of events. It has turned our lives upside down at a time when it was least convenient and thrown all our holiday plans out the window.
I could go on and on about how angry I am about this but honestly it will not do a bit of good. Do not worry about my roommate. She is going to stay with family while she gets her life back in order.
Update: made some changes on the recommendation of my roommate.
