I received a comment from Kirsty, an ex-pat Scot, who blogs from New Orleans, which is interesting in and of itself but she also posted a questionnaire that she answered so I thought I would give it a go.

5 things that you love about your new country
  1. The Pub
  2. People are not so concerned about "success" (i.e. becoming rich)
  3. Well thought out public transportation
  4. I live in a city with a CASTLE in it
  5. The Music
4 things you miss about your old country
  1. Very Tall Mountains
  2. The ability to go from Mountains to Ocean in an afternoon
  3. Good Coffee
  4. Friends and Family
3 things that annoy you about your new country
  1. Lack of obsession with computers
  2. The Banking System
  3. Entrenched Classism
2 things that surprise you about your new country
  1. The Festival
  2. The sheer volume of alcohol that people seem to be able to consume without getting alcohol poisoning
