Happy New Year everyone! I was supposed to go to a New Year party but there was some problems with the tickets but everything turned out right in the end as we decided to stay at a friend's flat who had a great view of Calton Hill where one of the sets of fireworks were set off. I then swung around to Doctor's pub to see my flatmates who were working (and paid double time) there and I ended up seeing my friend who is leaving for the States soon. So, all around a good evening even if it did not go as planned.
